Finance Analyst
Description
You will be assisting the Director with managing the money and financial risks in a business. This involves monitoring the capital the Company needs on its day-to-day business obligations.
You submit payments, create and open bank accounts, and track account balances. You communicate with colleagues, vendors, and other business partners to ensure all payments are handled in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and manage bank accounts, sources banks and EMIs, attends forums
- Handles end-to-end bank applications
- Submit payments using various methods
- Identify applicable payment method/s per vendor and keep up to date with changes in their bank details, terms, credit limit
- Keep updated with banking changes
- Handle bank reviews on both incoming and outgoing payments
- Handle the annual / regular bank account review
- Assist with investigating bank reconciliation issues
- Work with finance team and assess client KYC and assign applicable bank (must seek updates and must continuously adapt to changes)
- Assist CFO with cash monitoring in various banks
- Familiarize with table of fees, account restrictions and AMLA
- Recommend funding between accounts
- Assist with account management and account usage monitoring
Requirements
- Knowledge of SEPA, SWIFT and other various electronic transfers
- Knowledge of crypto payments
- Knowledge of credit card payments and merchants
- Knowledge of accounting software / payment management systems (ex. Xero, hubdoc)
- At least 2 years of experience as Finance Analyst/Treasury Analyst, or equivalent in a global company setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong business acumen and detail-oriented
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills, highly accountable
- Can work independently and with minimal supervision
- CPA certification is a plus
