Responsibilities
- Create and update internal and customer-facing materials: user guides, walkthroughs, company blog articles, and scripts for video tutorials
- Collaborate with our product management, marketing, software development and design teams to deliver a perfect final product
- Monitor Documentation portal analytics to make the content meet customers’ needs
- Ensure that products texts are clear, correct, and engaging
- Become an expert for the product being documented
- Ameliorate products by reporting defects. Be sure that documented defects are corrected
- Set the strategy of our documentation portal including setting the voice and tone of our materials
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing
- Advanced level of English, both written and verbal
- Clear and vigorous writing style
- Strong understanding of the software product life cycle and documentation development process and standards
- Ability to manage complex and interconnected amounts of information
- Natural curiosity to explore the technical sides of the project and learn how it works
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, willingness and ability to consult with subject matter experts from other departments
Will be a PLUS
- Basic understanding of APIs and /or Markdown
- Being comfortable in independent work. Ability to organize your work process with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
- Being an accurate, attentive, precise and a bit meticulous person.
