What’s Brewing with the Dialer

We’re focused on streamlining your workflow this month. We’ve upgraded the agent experience by bringing more power directly into the Inbox and giving you closer control over your SMS outreach.

Save Time with Inbox Calling

We’ve introduced VoIP and WhatsApp Calling into the Inbox. Users can now make calls directly from the dialer’s inbox, reducing tab-switching, allowing agents to handle all customer touchpoints in one window.

Modern SMS Capabilities

We’ve updated the SMS editor so that you can have more control over how messages look. This includes native emoji support so that messages can be more visually appealing and expressive. See how a message will appear to customers and leads with live mobile preview. We’ve also introduced segment alerts, which show you when messages will likely split up, helping you calculate costs and optimize message length.

Decide how templates appear to agents with our new SMS template control logic. If you want more flexibility, you can let agents edit templates during calls and you can also set how many messages they can send during a call. Alternatively you can choose to not make templates editable, as to ensure message consistency for branding and compliance purposes.

Shareable Conversation Links

To make working life easier we’ve introduced shareable conversation links. Speed up teamwork by giving coworkers direct access to the conversations. Now agents can generate dedicated links to specific chats, enabling them to understand context.

Real-time Connection Alerts

Real-time connection alerts have been introduced to help you detect and resolve network issues faster, averting call quality dips. Now the system monitors agent activity in real time and if poor performance is detected such as high ping or jitter, an alert will appear on the Realtime page. Details include which agents have been affected and which VoIP server users are connected to, perfect for managing teams with agents working in multiple locations.

Introducing WebCall: Browser Based Calling

Browser-based calling gives your customers a direct line to you, straight from your website. It’s a simple way to turn a browsing session into a real conversation without making people look for their phones or download software. By making it easy to get in touch, you can catch high-intent leads before they have a chance to click away to a competitor.

TextPeak Tweaks

Our omnichannel messaging platform, TextPeak, just got a lot more transparent and flexible. These updates are designed to give you better visibility into your customer interactions and a cleaner workspace for your campaigns.

WhatsApp Read Receipts

Now agents can see this important message status for outbound messages. With read recipients, users can see exactly which contacts have read their messages and this helps them gauge the right time to follow up.

WhatsApp is Rich Media

We’ve made it so that WhatsApp is Rich Media supportive. Messages sent or received from WhatsApp can now include images, documents, audio and video messages, staying in step with how people have gotten used to communicating via text. For more control, this enhancement can be disabled by admins for security or compliance.

Bulk Deleting

To make managing large quantities of contacts or templates more manageable, we’ve introduced Bulk Deleting. Remove multiple contact lists or templates in one go. Keep your workspace tidier with relevant resources, making it easier for managing future campaigns.

Advanced Inbox Filtering

Now users can quickly spot unread text messages or track WhatsApp conversations sent within 24 hours with added filter tabs. This new feature makes it easier for teams to identify urgent tasks and respond faster.
